Due to the overwhelming success of our first (and one-day) Jewelry Trunk Showin 2018, this year’s show has been extended into a 2-day weekend event. In an effort to attract and capture a larger target audience of jewelry buyers this show is scheduled to take place the weekend prior to Valentine’s Day.

Eligibility
  • Open to all member artists of the Rehoboth Art League. Membership must remain current from the time this application is submitted through the last date of this exhibition.
Registration Fee 
  • Twenty Dollars ($20.00) 
Jurors
  • AIMEE PETKUS received a BS in Natural Resources, Concentration in Geology and Commercial Recreation and Tourism from Colorado State University and a BFA in Metals and Jewelry from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She combines forms and elements found in both the organic and inorganic worlds that reflect the duality of her interests in science (Geology) and creativity.

  • KAITLYN EVAN earned a BFA in jewelry and metalsmithing from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a MFA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Forever fascinated by boxes and lockets, she has been fabricating these and other objects since starting her metalsmithing career in 2006.

Payments and Commissions
  • All sales are processed by the Rehoboth Art League
  • Artists receive a commission payment of sixty-five percent (65%) of the sales price for works sold 
  • Commission checks are mailed to the artists no later than the end of the second week of the month following a sale. 
Sales Procedure
  • Artists must provide a Sales Invoice to the buyer to present to the gallery desk for payment processing. 
  • The Sales Invoice must include the Artist Name and the Buyer’s Name, Phone Number, and Email Address.
  • Once payment is completed, the Buyer takes the RAL Payment Receipt to the Artist for rewiew prior to the release of any works.
  • It is the responsibility of the Artist to review the accuracy of the RAL Payment Receipt before releasing any works to the buyer.  
  • Artits will receive a listing of all sales following the close of the exhibition.
Submission Requirements*
  • Only online entries will be reviewed
  • Artist must submit three (3) works for review
  • Works must be created no earlier than 2016,
  • Call Deadline is firm
  • *Specific to this exhibition: You wil be asked serveral questions about each submission. 
    (1) List of Materials
    (2) Year of production, must be after 2016  
    (3) and (4) Excluding natural elements such as gems, shells, etc. and items such as clips and hinges, a clarification of your involment in the overall design and the fabricaton of the major elements in the submission.
Online Submission Image Requirements
  •  Submission images must be less than 4MB (each)* 
  • * For image files over 4MB:  Check out this instructional video that reviews how to resize an image file using both Mac and Windows operating systems.
  • If after watching this video you are still unable to resize your file(s);  attach the file(s) onto an email directed to Artistic Director with a request to resize it/them. Once resized, the files will be returned by email.
Registration Process
  • If you have never registered to an RAL juried exhibition:  Click the "Register" button located in the upper right corner of this page.
  • If you have entered a Rehoboth Art League Call for Entry within the past three years using this program:  Click the "Login" button and enter your email and password. If you forgot your password: Click "Forgot Password" to reset.
  • Following Login: You will be asked to provide your personal contact information and to pay the registration fee of $20.00 by credit card.  If you would like to pay by check, contact Jay Pastore. 
  • Once your registration is completed you will be directed to enter your submissions. You are not required to enter any or all of your submissions and/or their attributes at this time.  Once registered, you can “Login” to this call at any time prior to the Call Deadline to enter and/or edit your submissions. This includes the ability to both deleting a previously entered submission and replacing it with another.
  • *NOTE:  Based upon the security settings of your computer or server and/or those set by your internet carrier, emails from ArtCall (artcall.org) may be filtered into you SPAM or JUNK folders. Contact the Artistic Director if you do not receive an email confirming your registration shortly following its completion. 
Display information
  • Display spaces are randomly assigned. 
  • Each Artist will be offered a six-foot (6’) table to use for display. 
  • In lieu of a table display, Artists may provide their own display unit(s) providing it does not interfere with or obstruct another Artist's display or display area. The Rehoboth Art League cannot guarantee space accommodations for custom display units.
  • Some disply ares will not accomdate a custom dispaly unit.
Display Set-Up Times
  • Friday, February 8, 10am-4pm 
  • Saturday, February 9, 8:30-9:30am
  • The Artistic Director must approve any times beyond these parameters.
Display Breakdown Times 
  • Sunday, Feb.10, 4-6pm
  •  Monday, Feb 11, 9-11am
  • The Artistic Director must approve any times beyond these parameters.

Additional Information
Artist gives permission to the Rehoboth Art League to use any submission image on its website, social media posts, internal brochures, and the press for promotional purposes only. The Rehoboth Art League recognizes that the Artist maintains copyright of their images. For any image used, RAL agrees to clearly post an image credit, noting the Artist name and title of the work.
